Salted chocolate chip cookie with a hint of orange.
These cookies are an original Blue Moon favorite - that have been on the menu for nearly 5 years. These cookies were a staple at Blue Moon Coffee - the original location on Mercantile. We partnered with Cory, who owned Blue Moon Coffee back in 2010, to make this chocolate chip cookie for them. The original name of the cookie was a fancy salt name, but we just call them Cory chip - because that's how we roll - not fancy.
IF you enjoy chocolate and orange, you will love these cookies. The bits of salt bring out the flavors of the chocolate and orange. This cookie is more of a shortbread cookie with a chewy center.
3-4" cookie size
Ingredients: GF Flour Blend (brown rice, potato starch, tapioca, xanthan gum), organic sugar, butter, Chocolate chips (cocoa, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, cocoa solids 52%), eggs, molasses, fresh orange zest, baking soda, baking powder, sea salt
CONTAINS: dairy, eggs, soy, oats, corn
Storage: Like most gf cookies - these are best if eaten in the first 3-4 days. If you want to tuck them away for another day, store them in the freezer in a Ziplock type bag. Like all of our cookies these freeze really well. When we take them home, if we don't plan to eat them in a day or two, we freezer them right away.
(actual photo coming soon...I just have to stop eating them long enough to take a picture).
